Edited by: Dursun Idris on 23/12/2009 20:32:15 Thanks for making those changes at naglfar. But i will have a further request that i hope most of (especially matar ones)players will agree....
From current naglfar: -1 low slot -2 high slot -2 launcher CPU&Powergrid reduction (equal to grid - cpu usage of citadel launchers -give or take- with max skills)
+%100 damage done by x-large turrets.
If this set-up gives too much damage than intended, it can be fixed by replacing +%5 damage per level with +%7.5 faloff.
The reason of this requested change is; 1- Reducing ridiculus skill requirements to fly the ship. 2- Making it more focused to it's role.
Thank you, and keep up good work

Originally by: Jon Brutor With the hp boost, supercarrier models should be increased by 100%
4,000 m > 8,000 m (Hel) 3,250 m > 6,500 m (Nyx) 3,300 m > 6,600 m (Wyvern) 5,680 m > 11,360 m (Aeon)
That would be nice but increasing scale without improving textures will make them look terrible when you are close to them.

Originally by: Joabinanias I feel that's a very viable levi fit. The low cap regen problem is solved by having the carriers that are supporting you fit a remote energy reps.
It gets 50m+ EHP with a somewhat decent passive defense. There might be a lot of faction gear to buy but it's not as expensive as if you needed officer mods to get those kind of stats.
You're gonna want 1 or 2 BCU's to get a decent DPS out of your torps, and wtb volunteers to fly carriers with the sole purpose of providing cap for a titan.
In a large fleet fight, i believe more survival would be much more desired than doing extra 1-2 dread dps for a titan. I agree with your comment about cap.
Edit: And please ccp do not throw away the idea of a marauder-like turret naglfar.

Naglfar- There are no further changes planned for 1.1. It's not getting a third turret and it's not going to lose its missile hardpoints.
Please reconsider this again... There are lots of good ideas to do without adding the third turret, %50 to %75 marauder bonus will do just fine, again. Terrible amount of skillpoints involed in naglfar's weapon systems comparing with other dreads, adding an extra month with torpedos, yet adding another with cruises now, and 4 more months to perfect those skills. And the dread is no better than others in any way...

I'm really getting tired of saying this over and over but...
Please. Naglfar's skill requirements were higher than all other dreads already, and now they are just insane...
Turret... only... naglfar...

It's been said over and over again. We are NOT getting a turret only nag.
I fail to understand why are they so stubborn on this... It doesn't even need a new ship model.

I am/was very happy with the Nag skills. You need to do missile/projectile for other smaller ships anyways. The skill queue isn't that bad. Deal with it. I did it, so can you.
Still one of the sexiest ships in EVE.
Apart from generic missile skills, you don't need to get citadel cruise 5 (And c.torpedos) for smaller ships. It's takes soo long to being able to fly it properly and annoying long to master.

They specifically said it WILL require a new model and they aren't willing to do that.
It WILL NOT require a new model if it gets a marauder like bonus on it's 2 turrets, like a %50-75 one. And a fix to it's power grid and cpu (get lower) and minus a low slot.

It's not qq, i'm just trying to make a notice there can be a reasonable change in this matter with minimal effort.

Deal with the Nag or train another dread.. Imo..
2 things: First not all of players are playing this game for 4-6 years. Longer training quee means something for some people. And mostly: to train another dread thing; That's why i insist on change. Most players that decide to go for dread (i mean the %95 my guesses) will not train for something that takes 40-60 days more training time (without having PERFECT skills, just to fly properly) and ends up worse or same with another one. They will just go for REV, and means less variety on the sky, which is no good at all. (Amarr online lol...)

Originally by: Bobbeh See i dont see the minmattar Argument here Cause Its a lil Bit Longer of a train sure but people will still want to do it. 1400's Plus torps on a phoon sure hurt like hell, or 800 repeaters.
Capital Size Missles hit for large numbers but its delayed damage, i for one was against the gun only Naglfar. I chose Minmattar Cause it was a little longer of a train, and back they they were p.awesome speed demons.
The Niddy Is AMAZING for Triage, and for supporting BS fleets as it can rep better for shields and armor, than a thanny. They Hel Absolutely needs a new bonus i agree, these are Front like assault caps not logistics ships. Will High slot reps be used on SC, ofcourse they will if they pilots are smart. Spider tank is better than No spider tank. Naglfar Its Vertical and by far the coolest model for dreads, split weapons sucks a lil but it gives you the ability to choose damage types for both guns and missles.
I dont know about most minmattar pilots but i fit my short range Tempest with AC and torps.... As well as my Phoon, muninn split weapons, huginn split, loki can have split weapons.
I always liked the idea of giving the hel a Drone ROF bonus that equal'd the nyx damage bonus.
GJ fitting missiles to muninn after 720 ii's. You will get better results with pest if you use your high's for utility. Missiles do not have much to add most of matar ships with missile slots other than listed.
About SC remote reps/shield/energy transfers, they don't have range bonus right?

Originally by: Jim Raynor .. it will now do less DPS than a Revelation with Giga Pulse...
I don't mean to beat the dead horse anymore than it already has but..... We are back to the nag having the least tank and dps AND range to apply said least damage! And we have to pay more real $$ cause it takes longer to train to fly the least affective dread. Is there any situation that your co-workers at eve can find where you would want a Nag over any other dread in eve today? and don't you dare say alpha; dps over takes alpha in the fifth shot, for a dread that is a disadvantage. Sorry for the same rant everyone has heard over and over.
I said new changes won't going to fix it. Over... over... and over again...
